Belly, cheeks and area around the eyes is white. The whiskers are a bit long and it's tail. Overall body is muscular.
Not much is known about this cat, except that is mainly in tropical forests and grasslands in Malaysia and Thailand. Are known to feed on barking deer, sambar and wild boar, and having the sun in some parts of its range. The cat is finely distributed in their habitat because of low prey density. Little is known about their habits behavior and reproductive profile.
There are between 500-1000 Malaysian tigers in the wild. Threats include fragmentation Habitat and withdrawal, poaching, conflicts with humans and the decline of prey species. Although Malaysia applies a rigid control over poaching which reduced the loss of tigers in a certain extent, many Malaysian Tigers live outside the designated forest reserves, often in conflict with farmers.
